Career Design Program

Career Design Program

We provide systematic career support starting from the first year to help each student develop their career perspective and hone the necessary skills.
Taking advantage of the unique feature of our university's support system, "small class size education," students, parents, and university staff work together to aim for employment.

Career Support Program

Finding your vision and purpose

Students will acquire independent learning skills while carefully considering how they want to spend their four years at university and what they want to do in the future.

career support part 1
Career Design

The basis of career design is to start thinking about the future from the first year. While taking extracurricular courses, students face themselves and take the time to think about their strengths, interests, and what kind of work they want to do in the future. In the basic seminar, we provide opportunities to hear from working adults and think about their careers.

Focusing on society

In the second year, students turn their attention to society and design their future careers while participating in internships, etc. They also prepare to obtain qualifications and study abroad.

Career Support Part 2
Laying the foundations for employment

Students will acquire basic skills for finding employment so that they can play an active role in society. Internships and assignments from companies are also ways to deepen their understanding of careers. During spring break, career guidance sessions are also held to learn about job hunting.

Gain employment skills

Students will gather corporate information through career guidance, industry research meetings, etc. They will also hone their job-hunting skills and prepare for job hunting.

Career Support Part 3
Get ready for the job hunt

Through corporate research and career guidance, students will gather information about companies and begin their job search while considering their own aptitude. In individual instruction, students will learn how to write a resume, prepare for written exams, and how to conduct interviews, thus honing their job-hunting skills.

Job Hunting Support Group

The fourth-year students, who have already received job offers, are taking the lead in holding "Job Hunting Support Meetings" to encourage third-year students who are about to start job hunting.

For our juniors who are feeling anxious about starting their job hunting activities, we are sending them encouragement to help dispel their fears and give them the push they need.

Decide your career path

Recruitment exams will begin in earnest from April, and we offer comprehensive support to help you succeed in your job search.

Career Support Part 4
Aiming for a job offer, the job hunting begins

We provide detailed support according to each student's aptitude and desires. We have a comprehensive support system in place to the end, including guidance sessions held on campus to help students choose their own career path within the limited time available.

Group discussion and interview preparation course
We are conducting a course to prepare for group discussions and group interviews, which many students find difficult. Students will experience and prepare on campus before the actual job hunting process. The advantage is that the members are students from the university, so you can approach the session in a more relaxed atmosphere. Practice makes perfect!!

Career Support Program

Self-Analysis (LIFO Program)

It is important to face what kind of characteristics you have while you are a student, as you will be involved in society after graduating. The staff of the Career Guidance Department are licensed with the self-analysis tool "LIFO", so they will conduct self-analysis using the LIFO program.

Career Guidance

The seminar is held for each grade and provides specific advice on job hunting. From the third year, the content becomes more practical, including the steps of job hunting and how to prepare for interviews and written exams.

Qualifications

Through seminars and lectures, students can aim to acquire various qualifications that will be useful in the workplace. There are also courses available for obtaining qualifications such as "librarian" and "Japanese language teacher."

Internship Program

Internships are programs that allow students to gain actual work experience at companies, organizations, etc., with two goals: "allowing students to think about their own interests and future careers" and "acquiring knowledge of the professional world and business etiquette."
Yamanashi Eiwa University offers two distinctive programs: "curricular internships" and "cross-industry extracurricular internships."

Written exam preparation

For students aiming to become civil servants, we offer preparation courses for the civil service exam (general knowledge).
We also regularly hold exam sessions for the SPI exam, which is increasingly being adopted by companies, and our career guidance department also has books available to help students prepare for the written exam.

Individual interviews with all participants

Once students reach their third year, all students will have an interview with the career support staff to confirm their career goals after graduation.

Job Hunting Study Sessions

We hold study sessions inviting corporate human resources and administrative staff, as well as people who have successfully completed their job-hunting process, to provide accurate information about jobs and companies, as well as the latest industry trends.

Individual interview

We work with career support staff and Young Hello Work Kofu to provide individual consultations. We also provide one-on-one support for creating application forms and mock interviews, which are essential for job hunting.

On-campus industry research group

We invite people from companies inside and outside the prefecture to our university to deepen understanding of each industry.
