Yamanashi Eiwa University actively supports overseas study in order to foster talented individuals who can thrive in a globalizing society and in keeping with its founding spirit. We provide attentive support tailored to each student's hopes and dreams for the future, creating an environment in which they can study abroad with peace of mind. We also aim to become a truly international university and actively accept international students from overseas. Even on campus, we support student-led international exchange through cultural and everyday interactions, such as planning and running international events that bring students from various countries together.

Study abroad system

Mid-term study abroad program in Canada

For four months from April to August, students will study local culture and English while living in a dormitory at Renison University College, a partner school in Canada. In March, an intensive English course will be held. We will support students in preparing for their study abroad.

Exchange student system

Students are accepted into exchange programs at partner universities in China and South Korea for one year. Up to 30 credits earned at the exchange program will be recognized as credits at our university.

Credit Accreditation Study Abroad Program

If you wish to study abroad at a university other than our partner university, we will give you permission to study abroad. If you are approved, your studies at the university will be recognized as credits at our university and you will be exempt from paying tuition fees at our university.

 

 

POINTS OF STUDY ABROAD SYSTEM

POINT1 Tuition fees are waived during study abroad

We have reduced the burden of tuition fees and created an environment that makes it easy to study abroad. For mid-term and certified study abroad, the university's tuition fees are fully waived. For exchange students, the university's tuition fees are half price and the host university's tuition fees are fully waived.

POINT2 Even if you study abroad, you can graduate in 4 years

Some of the credits you earn at your study abroad destination will be recognized as credits at our university. Even if you study abroad for one year, you can still graduate in four years, so it won't put you at a disadvantage when it comes to finding a job.

POINT3 Support for studying abroad and from overseas

We provide detailed support for each student, covering expenses, preparation, life at the host university, etc. We also provide support for all aspects of life for international students.

In keeping with its founding principles, Yamanashi Eiwa University has been actively accepting international students since its founding.

 

Interaction with international students

Yamanashi Eiwa University has many international students, including from China and Korea. Through interactions with students from various countries in seminars, clubs, events, and more, you can develop a global perspective.

 

International exchange with the local community
