We have created an environment that allows for detailed communication so that students can make use of the one-on-one education they receive in their studies and student life at university.
One teacher is the "homeroom teacher" for one student
Taking advantage of the small class size, one faculty member is assigned to each student as an advisor. They will provide individual consultations on matters related to university studies, student life, course plans, and future career paths. Advisors, who students can talk to about anything, are a strong ally for students.
Providing an environment where even students who are new to ICT can learn with confidence
Yamanashi Eiwa University provides free loans of PCs (MacBooks) to all students.
By tailoring each student's computer skills, even students who are new to computers can easily improve their level by learning how to use the Internet and online operations, how to write reports and give presentations, which are basic university-level skills, and how to organize and analyze data.
In addition, the entire campus is equipped with wireless LAN, which allows high-speed internet connection.
We have created an environment where each student can use their own PC as their "partner" during their four years at university, according to their individual studies and interests.
Feel free to visit any professor's laboratory
There are designated times when faculty members are available in the lab to answer students' questions, concerns, and for consultation. Students can also consult with faculty members other than their advisors.
