Student Support Policy

 

Based on its founding principles and a deep understanding of humanity rooted in Christian spirit, Yamanashi Eiwa University supports the process by which each student can lead a fulfilling student life and grow as a whole person, and has established a policy for providing student support in which faculty and staff can serve as role models for students through their attitude of being good neighbors.

 

 

Support for students based on the premise of normalization

Our university aims to enable all students to fully utilize their own qualities and abilities while studying. In particular, in cases where difficulties due to language, culture, physical characteristics, or various disabilities are recognized, we have established the following support policy.

 

1. When a student with a disability makes a request, reasonable accommodation will be made based on that request, and relevant departments will work together to provide appropriate support.
2. We strive to improve the campus environment so that all students can live their student life with peace of mind.

 

 

 

 

 

Study support

 

1. Based on the understanding that academic performance is an indicator of a student's growth or difficulties, we will establish an advisor system to grasp the student's situation so that the student can study smoothly. Furthermore, we will strengthen the consultation system to respond to the diverse needs of each and every student by coordinating with faculty, staff, and related departments.
2. We will improve our scholarship system and provide effective support so that students can study with financial stability.

1. We will establish a system that fosters career awareness while broadening employees' horizons to the local community and the world, and at the same time deepening their self-understanding.
2. We will support students in making independent career choices and establish a system to cultivate the necessary skills.
