2026 Non-degree Students Application Guidelines and Application Form (PDF)

 

Important points to note when filing an application

1. If you wish to take a qualification course, please check with the Academic Affairs Department in advance.
2. Check the open courses you wish to take.

3. Please prepare and submit all the documents listed in “3. Procedure (1) Application Documents” of the Application Guidelines.
4. If you would like to take an intensive course, please contact us separately to inquire about the schedule.
5. If you send by mail, please make sure it arrives by the deadline.

6. Please bring a laptop as we will be using computers in almost all classes.

 

Available courses

You can take courses from the list of open courses attached.
However, there may be restrictions on enrollment in some courses.

 

Eligibility to apply

1. High school graduates
2. Other individuals deemed appropriate by the university
3. For foreign nationals, students must have had a resident status in Japan for at least one year from April of the academic year in which they will study, or, if their resident status expires during the academic year, they must be able to renew their resident status after the expiration date, regardless of their status as a student studying at this university.
4. Foreign nationals must have passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (N2 or higher) administered by the Japan International Education Association.

 

Course period

The period is limited to one year. However, those who wish to continue studying may extend the period by one year with permission.

 

Acquiring credits

The maximum number of credits that can be taken in one year is 30.

Second Term: Monday, August 17th to Friday, September 4th, 2026

3. Procedure

Applicants should transfer the application fee and then submit the following application documents by mail or in person at the office during the application period.

If you send by mail, please make sure to submit by the deadline.

The reception desk is open until 4:30 p.m., except on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.

(2) Selection fee: 15,000 yen

However, interviews may be conducted if necessary.

If you have been granted permission to take the course, please follow the instructions provided separately to complete the registration process.
