The Certified Psychologist course is a course that trains certified psychologists (nationally qualified) who use specialized knowledge and skills in psychology to provide psychological support, observe psychological states and analyze the results, provide consultation, advice and guidance to people who need psychological support and those related to them, and provide mental health education, etc. We train highly skilled mental health professionals so that those who aim to become certified psychologists can play an active role in the fields of health care, welfare and education in the future.
A librarian is a professional library staff member who has acquired knowledge and skills in library and information science and is engaged in services specific to libraries. The specialized subjects of librarians are based on the study of the methodology of library and information science. Our university's librarian course is not limited to that, but aims to organically link and systematize the study of library and information science with each field.
The goal of the English Intensive Program is to develop individuals who have advanced English language skills (reading, listening, writing, speaking, presentation) and an international perspective backed by an academic background, and who can proactively and creatively explore career plans that foster global knowledge and experience, as well as diverse life courses that correspond to the age of multicultural coexistence.
In today's advanced information society, it is essential to master the basics of information and communication technology (ICT). The field of data science has been attracting attention, with the creation of the profession of data scientist. In this program, students will acquire basic knowledge and skills related to statistics and information science that underpin data science, and by meeting the requirements for completing the program, they can also aim to obtain qualifications such as IT Passport, Information Technology Engineer, and Statistical Certification.
The Registered Japanese Language Teacher Training Program was established to train teachers who can teach Japanese to foreigners and those who have lived abroad for extended periods, such as returnees. This program aims to train Japanese language teachers who can instruct non-native Japanese speakers in acquiring the language, and also to cultivate individuals who can contribute to international cultural exchange. International students are also welcome to participate.
*A qualification system for registered Japanese language teachers who can teach Japanese at accredited Japanese language educational institutions was launched in April 2024.
Our university will receive approval from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in 2025 and will launch a new "Registered Japanese Language Teacher Training Program" from 2026. Please click here for more details.

The Yamanashi Regional Coordinator Training Program aims to train people who can tackle problem-solving in the Yamanashi region. We aim to train "regional coordinators" who are equipped with knowledge and skills that are useful in the real world, who can proactively discover problems in the region, acquire specialized knowledge and skills to interpret local problems, proactively tackle problem-solving, and acquire the ability to "coordinate" problems through collaboration and cooperation among diverse members.
