Yamanashi Eiwa College is founded on Christian principles and has a motto of "Respect for God, Love for Others people, and Self Development." As a university that "lives with others" and "is with others," we aim to produce "good neighbors" who are rooted in the local community and who possess the following qualities:
| 1. | Based on Christian principles, we are mindful of the hearts of all people, especially local residents, and have a mindset of loving and helping all of our neighbors in all sorts of circumstances. |
| 2. | They will have a concrete idea of the role they should play in the community, discover for themselves the knowledge and skills they need to do so, and continue to hone them throughout their lives. |
| 3. | They have the global citizenship to adapt to the globalization sweeping through the region, and to actively participate and act responsibly. |
