On Monday, July 14, 2025, an information exchange session for the national examination "Japanese Language Teachers Examination" was held online, with a total of 17 people participating, including eight current students and nine graduates of our university.
Yamanashi Eiwa College 's Japanese Language Teacher Training Program (Japanese Language Teacher Training Course) has been recognized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology as a course eligible for transitional measures.

At the information exchange session, the responsible teachers gave explanations on the background to the national certification of Japanese language teachers, an overview of the exam, sample questions and their explanations, etc.
In addition, students from the program who passed the applied exam last year shared their experiences, such as the reference books they used, the amount of time they spent studying, and things they needed to know on the day of the exam.
A question and answer session was held at the end of the session, which I believe helped participants gain a deeper understanding of the test.

In the first Japanese Language Teacher Examination last year, two students from our program took the applied exam, and both passed with flying colors, becoming registered as nationally certified "Japanese Language Teachers."
Good luck to all the program students taking the exams soon!
