Christmas tree lighting ceremony

On the evening of Tuesday, November 25th, the 38th Yamanashi Eiwa College Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony was held.

After the rain cleared, we held a Christmas tree lighting ceremony with about 200 people, including local residents, alumni, students, faculty and staff.

The first part of the ceremony featured a hymn by the student choir, Green Chapel Choir, titled "Long-awaited Prayer," and a "Prayer for Peace" by international students.
The Christmas tree is lit up with the ignition announcement.
In beautiful light, we listened to a message from Religious Director Eiji Nagai.

The second part was a "Moment of Fun" co-hosted by the student volunteer circle The Peace Fellows and the student collaboration circle LIKE.
We had a great time with about 130 participants, taking part in quizzes and making Christmas cards.

Our university's Christmas tree lighting ceremony is a traditional event that will be held for the 38th time this year.
We are truly grateful to be able to share this blessed time with you all as it heralds the arrival of the Christian calendar, Advent.
