[Important] False Order (Fraud) Cases Claiming to Be Made by a Company from Our University (Warning)

 

Since December 22, 2025, several cases have been confirmed in which individuals claiming to be faculty or staff members of Yamanashi Eiwa College have made false requests for renovation work and product orders to businesses within the prefecture using the name of the university.

In these cases, we have confirmed cases where orders were placed with businesses over the phone and appointments were made to meet on campus, but these actions have nothing to do with our university.

We have already consulted the police regarding this matter.

 

If you are a business and you receive a request for construction work or an order for products from someone claiming to be a faculty member or staff member of Yamanashi Eiwa College, please be sure to check with the university in advance.

Please note that our university will not place orders using mobile phone numbers as the contact point.

If you receive an order with only a mobile phone number as contact information, or if you notice anything suspicious, please contact our university regardless of the amount.
