Christian Education Week 2026

During Christian Education Week, one or two classes are shortened in order to deepen understanding of Christianity from a broader perspective. This allows you to listen to the message longer than the normal chapel hour. Why not dig deeper into the theme through the message given by the lecturer? We look forward to your attendance over the five days. Please continue to attend every day.

 

Theme: "Let us use our gifts to serve one another."

May 25th (Monday) Kazuko Tokuda (Vice Principal, Kyonan Kindergarten, Kyonan Gakuen) "55 Years of Lessons Learned from Children"

May 26 (Tuesday) Yamanashi Eiwa University Indonesia Intercultural Experience Program Participant: "As someone who will realize peace"

May 27 (Wed) Ryozo Nishikawa (Principal of Yamanashi Eiwa Gakuin) "Various kinds of 'gifts'"

Thursday, May 28th: Masayuki Saito (Pastor of Kofu Church, United Church of Christ in Japan) "Freedom that does not seek superiority, approval, or comparison"

May 29th (Friday) Takashi Taka (Head of Religious Affairs, Yamanashi Eiwa University) "The Parable of the Vineyard Workers"

 

Christian Education Week Timetable
First period: 9:00-10:25 (ends 10 minutes earlier than usual)
Chapel Hour 10:30-11:10 (University-wide Chapel)
Second period: 11:15-12:40 (starts 10 minutes later than usual)
