To all prospective applicants: Points to note regarding the enforcement of the "Act on the Prevention of Sexual Violence Against Children" (common name)

 

To all prospective applicants (those planning to enroll) in Yamanashi Eiwa University and its graduate school:

 

With the enforcement of the law in December 2026, verification of whether or not a person has a prior conviction for specific sex offenses will be required during the "psychological internship" necessary for eligibility to take the examination for certified psychologists, etc. Similar verification will also be required for internships and volunteer activities, especially those involving long-term, one-on-one interaction.

Please be aware that if the confirmation results prevent you from participating in practical training or other activities, it may affect your ability to obtain qualifications, etc. We ask that all applicants fully understand the above points when applying to and enrolling at this university.
