I will be participating in the Yamanashi Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Festival 2026 and the Yamanashi Prefecture Disaster Prevention Symposium for FY2026.

 

Yamanashi Eiwa University will be sponsoring and cooperating with a disaster prevention event to be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026.

 

 

"Yamanashi Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Festival 2026"

• Date and time: Saturday, September 19, 2026 10:00-16:00
• Location: North Exit of Kofu Station (Kofu City Historical Park & Yochabare Plaza)
• Overview: At the Yamanashi Eiwa University booth, we will be demonstrating and offering hands-on experiences of disaster relief through foot baths. Through these foot baths, visitors can experience disaster relief and mental health care, with students who have experience in psychology, disaster prevention, international exchange, and volunteer work participating in the practical activities.

 

 

"Yamanashi Prefecture Disaster Prevention Symposium, FY2026"

• Date and time: Saturday, September 19, 2026 13:30-15:00 (doors open 13:00)
• Location: Yamanashi Nichinichi Shimbun YBS Hall
• Overview: Our university president, Toshiya Tsukamoto, will be a panelist. He will discuss topics such as disaster prevention and crisis management, and explain disaster prevention measures that can be easily implemented in schools and daily life.

 

 

The purpose of this program is to foster a sense of contributing to the local community among our students by having them participate as operational staff, and to provide them with an opportunity to experience the appeal of working in Yamanashi and to help them in their future career development.
