[130th Anniversary Event] Cancellation of the Sasago Pass Walking Event

To all faculty, staff, alumni and students,

 

The 130th anniversary event "Walking Over Sasago Pass," scheduled for Saturday, October 19th, has been canceled due to the dangerous conditions on the walking trail caused by Typhoon Hagibis and the high probability of rain in the weather forecast for the day.

 

It was a fitting plan for the 130th anniversary of the founding of Yamanashi Eiwa University, as it was intended to remind us of the time when our first principal, Mr. Wintmute, walked alone over the steep mountain pass, retracing his footsteps and recalling the founding of Yamanashi Eiwa University. We are very sorry that it has been cancelled, and we are also very sorry to those who were looking forward to the event.

 

This plan has been cancelled, but we hope to be able to hold it again.

We hope you will look forward to that time.
