Points to note when reporting

- Reports must, in principle, be made in a public name and must clearly state the name of the researcher or research group alleged to have committed the misuse or misconduct, the nature of the misuse or misconduct, and any other details of the case, as well as a reasonable justification for the misconduct.

If the report is made with malice (meaning an intention intended solely to cause some kind of damage to the person reported or to cause disadvantage to the organization to which the person reported belongs, such as to frame the person reported or to interfere with the research that the person reported is conducting), the name of the person reporting the report may be made public, disciplinary or warning procedures may be taken in accordance with the company's work rules, criminal charges may be filed, or other necessary measures may be taken.
