| What makes the research interesting? | Language is a tool for communication, but at the same time, it is also something that is related to human development and worldview. I am particularly interested in teaching methods that deepen Japanese reading comprehension, and in the development of teaching materials for that purpose. I would like to think about how we can provide thrilling and fulfilling classes in which students make new discoveries or ask new questions every time they read a line or a paragraph; in a way that makes it seem as if their world is expanding, to put it dramatically. |
