Counseling Information

Yamanashi Eiwa University Psychological Clinical Center provides consultations on a variety of mental health issues, including parenting anxiety, interpersonal relationship issues, and consultations for children who are bullied or not attending school. Through individual interviews (counseling) and play therapy, our staff will work with you to consider how to address your concerns. The center also serves as an educational institution for graduate students, and psychological counseling is primarily provided by trainees under the guidance of faculty members.

Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the opening hours of Yamanashi Eiwa University Psychological Clinical Center have been changed, but normal opening hours will resume from June​ ​19, 2023.

＜Notice regarding the end of mental health telephone consultation services＞

We would like to inform you that the "Mental Health Telephone Consultation" service, which has been running since 2020, will end at the end of May 2023. Thank you for using our service.

We are accepting face-to-face counselling sessions as usual, so please feel free to use them.

 

 

 

 

The Yamanashi Eiwa University Psychological Clinical Center Support Program for victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake ended in March 2016. Thank you for using our service. Yamanashi Eiwa University Psychological Clinical Center will continue to provide support to those affected by the disaster through mental health counseling. We are happy to discuss consultation fees (please bring a disaster certificate). Even small matters are welcome. We hope you will use this service.

Our center offers counseling for people who are struggling with the following mental health issues:

Child Development	Developmental delays, school enrollment consultations, etc.
Childcare	Childcare concerns, how to interact with others, etc.
school life	Learning difficulties, school refusal, etc.
Interpersonal Relationships	Family, friends, work, etc.
Your own worries	Anxiety, stress, tension, etc.

 

• Your consultation will be kept strictly confidential.
• Depending on the content of your consultation, we may refer you to a medical institution or other institution.
• We will accept consultations for those who are able to visit us in person. Please note that we do not accept consultations over the phone.

Our center operates by appointment only, so please make your reservation by phone first.

Parent-child parallel interview	4,000円
Parent-child parallel interview (parent or child only)	2,000円
Psychological tests (developmental tests, personality tests, etc.)	The cost varies depending on the test.

 

• The time limit is 50 minutes.
• Other costs may be charged as necessary.
• Since we are not a medical institution, health insurance does not apply.
