Yamanashi Eiwa University is spread across a lush, green site of 66,000 square meters. The school building, with its brick-colored roofs and cream-colored walls, was designed by Ichiryusha Vories Architects, who imagined the Yokone district, with its vineyards, as being similar to the Bordeaux region in France. This beautiful campus, which harmonizes with the natural beauty of Yamanashi Prefecture, won the Yamanashi Prefecture Architectural Culture Encouragement Award (in the category of buildings that create a beautiful urban landscape in 1996).
■100% of Yamanashi Eiwa University facilities are earthquake-resistant.
The earthquake resistance rate is the ratio of new buildings (area) designed based on the "New Earthquake-Resistant Design Standards" established in 1981 to the total building area (area) of buildings (built before the standards were established but which have undergone reinforcement work and are deemed earthquake-resistant). *Our university building was completed in 1995, and received the Yamanashi Prefecture Architectural Culture Encouragement Award in 1996 in the "Category of Buildings that Form a Beautiful Townscape."
