User Guide

 

Yamanashi Eiwa University Library is open to all students, pupils, kindergarteners, faculty and staff of Yamanashi Eiwa Academy, as well as those enrolled in the library, as follows: A student ID or library card is required to use the library.

 
Eligibility
  1. Undergraduate and graduate students of this university, and their alumni
  2. Students and children of Yamanashi Eiwa Junior and Senior High School and Yamanashi Eiwa Certified Nursery School
  3. Faculty and staff of Yamanashi Eiwa Gakuin
  4. Maple Mate
  5. Anyone aged 16 or older who lives in Yamanashi Prefecture
  6. Others approved by the Library Director
 
Opening hours

<Due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, the museum is currently open with restrictions.>

    • Monday to Friday 9:00 to 20:00
    • Saturday 9:00-17:00
    • Closed on Sundays and public holidays

*The library may also be closed due to campus events.

Open shelf materials

Anyone can view the materials on the shelves on the first and second floors. After viewing, please return the materials to the designated book return desk.

 
Closed stacks materials

These materials are stored in a storeroom that is not visible to users. If you would like to view them, please come to the counter.

 
Materials that are prohibited from being taken out of the library

Materials with a "No loan" label attached cannot be borrowed outside the library. Materials that are prohibited from being taken out of the library are as follows:

  1. Documents with a "No loan label" attached
  2. magazine
  3. newspaper
  4. Rare books etc.
  5. Reference books (encyclopedias, catalogs, indexes, etc.)
 
Precautions
    • Please be sure to carry your student ID and library card with you.
    • Eating, drinking and smoking are prohibited inside the building.
    • Please be sure to carry your valuables with you to prevent theft.
    • Please refrain from talking on your mobile phone inside the building.
    • Please turn off your phone or set it to silent mode so as not to disturb other users.
    • Materials that have not been checked out cannot be taken out of the library.
    • Please treat materials and equipment with care.
    • Please return the books you have viewed to their designated place.
    • Please be sure to return your borrowed books by their due date.
    • You may be required to pay compensation for any damage or stains.
    • In principle, taking photographs (with smartphones, cameras, etc.) is prohibited inside the building.
    • Please follow the instructions of the librarian.
    • When the alarm at the entrance/exit gate sounds, we will conduct a baggage inspection.
